What is a screen charge?
Imprinted apparel has a screen charge per item per color. The number of colors used, due to the additional screen runs and art charges directly affects promotional products screen charges.

What is a digitizing charge?
Digitizing is the conversion of your logo into stitches that the embroidery machine uses to recreate your logo. This is a one time charge. Digitizing charges include a sewn sample for your approval.

What is an embroidery charge?
This is the per piece charge per 1000 stitches to apply your digitized logo to your apparel using up to 15 colors at no additional cost.

What is personalization?
This is the adding of individual names to your apparel. The charge is $5.00/piece.

What is the imprint size?
The left chest design for embroidery or screen printing is not larger than 4 inches wide by 3 inches high. The best size design for caps is 4.5 inches wide by 2.25 inches high. The number of logo stitches determines full front or full back location.

Where can embroidery be applied?
Just about anywhere! The most frequently used embroidery locations for shirts/sweaters/coats/sweatshirts are the left chest for the company logo and the right chest for personalization. Other locations include the shirt collar, sleeve yoke, and full back. Many companies are embroidering their web site on the shirt yoke or cap back.

What about art?
Camera ready art is the best for custom embroidery and screen printing projects. Electronic art is welcomed and may be sent by email. The customer must approve all artwork prior to embroidering or screen printing. Changes made at the customer’s request may be subject to additional charges. If you have previously had your logo digitized, you can have that file sent via email in Tajima format and avoid a redigitizing fee.

What about laundering and shrinkage of my embroidered or screen printed clothing?
Some shrinkage is unavoidable in knitted garments. To minimize shrinkage, follow washing instructions on the garment label. Avoid using harsh detergents or bleach on colored fabrics. Do not iron over the imprint or embroidered design.

How long is production time?
New embroidery orders need to have 3-5 days for set-up, then 5 working days for production, after the customer has approved the sewn sample. Firm delivery dates will be set when the order is placed. If we are able to accommodate rush orders, there is no extra charge for this service.

What is the minimum quantity I need to order?
There are no minimum quantities to embroider apparel. Screen printing of apparel has a minimum of 12 pieces. Promotional products minimum quantities vary by product.

What about over runs/under runs?
To maintain production efficiencies, actual quantities invoiced will be shipped.

I am a new customer. Is there anything I should know?
Orders from new customers require a 50% deposit with the balance due at delivery.
